About Limassol

Limassol is a scenic city on the southern coast of Cyprus, known for its historical landmarks, diverse culture, and lively nightlife. The conference will be held at the modern facilities of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), in the heart of the city. In May and June, Cyprus enjoys warm, sunny days and mild evenings, perfect for both events and leisure. Optional activities include visits to ancient sites, wine tasting, and beach outings. The venue is the Tassos Papadopoulos Building, at CUT’s city-center campus.

Transportation

Cyprus has two airports: Larnaca (LCA) and Paphos (PFO). Use only these; Ercan is not in the Republic’s control. Larnaca is 67 km from Limassol, and Paphos is 60 km. Both have shuttle coaches (Limassol Airport Express) to the city. From Larnaca, exit at St Raphael Hotel, then take Bus 30 to “Spyrou Araouzou – Agia Napa Church”. From Paphos, exit at St George Havouzas, then take a city bus or taxi. Taxis can be pre-booked. Approximate taxi prices: Larnaca to Limassol is €70/€75 (day/night), and Paphos to Limassol is €65/€70.
